The biggest video request ever made by Qualifyze became one of the most ambitious motion design projects I’ve worked on so far. With the launch of their new suite of digital tools, we needed to produce an extensive video campaign that included:
- A hero launch video for global release
- A dynamic teaser to generate pre-launch excitement
- Product showcase loops for website implementation
- And two internal videos for the company’s product and onboarding teams
This launch suite wasn’t just about animation—it was about solving communication needs across multiple teams, platforms, and audiences, and delivering an end-to-end post-production solution that supported a truly global product rollout.
Creative Direction & Workflow
The entire video series was developed in close collaboration with the Qualifyze marketing team, under the graphic direction of Victoria Mautone. Each piece started with a script that we developed and refined together, aligning visual storytelling with the brand’s updated guidelines and product goals.
All animations were built from real Figma designs of the new app. These were carefully imported and structured within Adobe After Effects, where I animated each UI screen individually. Every interaction, transition, and motion path was thoughtfully choreographed to reflect the smooth, intuitive experience the product aims to deliver.
To streamline the animation pipeline, I developed a series of modular rigs using Action Script within After Effects, making it easier to scale or adjust animations when last-minute tweaks were needed.
Launch Video
The flagship video is a high-energy, visually immersive overview of the new platform. It combines animated screens, layered tunnel transitions, and fast-paced movement that echoes the concept of streamlined workflows and smart data flows. Every detail follows Qualifyze’s branding, but with a bold and engaging twist.
Teaser
Designed to build hype while keeping the full reveal under wraps, the teaser uses subtle UI hints, branded motion elements, and rhythmic pacing to tease the new features without giving too much away.
Website Animations
To support the product launch online, I created web-optimized animations in WEBM format with transparency, allowing seamless integration with parallax scroll effects on the new landing page. The animations were tailored to load fast while remaining crisp and visually clean across devices.
Internal Product Videos
Two additional explainers were developed specifically for internal use. These focused on training and onboarding staff to the new platforms. While not public-facing, they still followed the same level of visual polish, clarity, and brand consistency.
Voiceover & Sound
Both the English and Spanish versions use AI-generated voiceovers via Artlist, selected and edited to maintain a professional and clean tone throughout. Sound design and music also came from Artlist, carefully synced to guide the rhythm and pacing of the visuals.
