Cinemark contacted me to produce a high-impact explainer video following major updates to their mobile app. The goal was to showcase the new ticket-purchasing flow and highlight key features with clarity, speed, and visual appeal — all while keeping brand consistency intact across platforms.

This video wasn’t made just for online use — it’s being shown on movie theater screens, digital lobby signage, and across Cinemark’s social media. To match those high-res needs, the project was delivered in 2K resolution, and also adapted to vertical format for mobile distribution.

This was also a technical milestone for me: it was the first project where I used a fully 3D phone mockup, allowing for greater flexibility and realism in UI animation and scene transitions.

Just like in my other explainer projects, I led the full creative process:
– Storyboard and animation planning based on the updated UX
– Vector UI recreation of the app inside Adobe Illustrator
– Animation in After Effects, synced to a precise rhythm for clear information delivery
– Custom 3D phone animation, simulating real app interaction in a clean and modern way
– Multi-format exports tailored for cinema, social media, and mobile devices

This project is a perfect mix of technical polish and user-centered storytelling, aimed at helping customers understand the new features quickly and visually — whether they’re inside the theater or scrolling on their phones.
